Role Summary
We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic, motivated and adaptable person to join our friendly Therapy Admin Team. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours) and will be split between North Devon District Hospital and Bideford Community Hospital sites.
You will assist the Admin Manager and fulfil all tasks associated with the smooth running of the administration departments across the integrated In-patient and Outpatient Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Teams, liaising with other departments as necessary.
The role includes;
- Welcome and direct patients and visitors to the department, in a friendly and confident manner.
- Answer the telephone and advise and respond appropriately.
- Be responsible for registering new referrals, organising waiting lists and booking patient appointments under the guidance from senior clinical and admin supervisor.
- Data Inputting.
- Deal with access to records requests in a timely manner.
- Assist the Therapy Admin Manager and Service Leads with admin support as appropriate.
- Be adept at using a wide range of computer programmed and be able to type accurately.

You will be able to work as an integral part of the wider Therapy Admin Team and be willing to learn new skills. The ideal applicant will have a good standard of education with an NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday to be split between North Devon District Hospital, Barnstaple 08.30 - 16.30 and Bideford Community Hospital 07.30 - 15.30
