Role Summary

This Administrative Services Manager position will be accountable for the on-going development and efficiency of our administrative function which supports and meets the on-going needs of the clinical services within our Community Planned Pillar Team. The role will further support the Trust through the implementation of projects with reference to the Service and strategic needs of our Division.

We are delighted to announce that we have an exciting new opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our Community Planned Care Pillar Team.

The successful applicant will lead on the administrative agenda across the Planned Care pillar bringing all services in line with Trust policies and process, and leading through the digital agenda to ensure efficient and consistent use of resources in order to optimise clinical capacity, which will in turn ensure effective waiting list management and clinic optimisation. 

We are looking for a highly experienced/organised and flexible individual to join our friendly and supportive team to ensure effective and continuous improvement of our Eastern Admin support facility. This position will require someone with excellent communication skills who is a great team player and is able to work across and engage with multiple services to support teams and deliver on change.

The successful candidate will work closely with Senior staff to ensure all admin staff are working in a consistent and effective way in line with our Trust Outpatient Transformation programme of works. Developing effective means of communication both with admin/line managers/senior and operational managers will be a key aspect of this role as collaborative working is essential to achieve equity of waits and standardisation of waiting list management. 

This role will provide an opportunity to develop successful leadership and technical skills and drive forward improvement. It is an essential requirement of this role for candidates to have an excellent competency and working knowledge of our Electronic Patient Record which will support the productivity work, particularly the digital programme, supporting the embedding of Digital by default, ambient AI, Schedule Optimisation etc across all of our Planned Care Services.

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday

 Pay: The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 2026-7 rates, inclusive of a 3.3% pay award implemented from April 2026. If you join before this date,, remuneration will be based on the 2025-6 pay bandings (Pay scales for 2025/26 | NHS Employers)
