Role Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Physician Associate to take up a fixed-term post in the Acute Care of the Elder (ACE) team.
The ACE team runs a short-stay unit and an outreach team seeing patients in the Acute Medical Unit, Same Day Emergency Clinic and the Emergency Department.

We are looking for a Physician Associate to work within our multi-disciplinary team. Someone with leadership skills and ability to help develop a frailty service based within SDEC/AMU and be willing to participate in quality improvement projects.
You should be able to work independently with remote support when required, and within a wider team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a team which will focus on supporting and developing your skills and knowledge. This will also be an opportunity to teach Nurses, Doctors in training and Physician Associate Students.
We are a friendly and caring team who pride ourselves on our commitment to high quality care. You will join a team of medical professionals working through multiple clinical areas ensuring a first-class service and experience.
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months. For current NHS employees this post could be a secondment opportunity.
