Main duties of the job
The Royal Devon University Trust (Eastern Services) Aseptic Unit has a modern facility on-site and we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to be part of our Aseptic Service team and the current service provided to our customers. We are a busy aseptic unit and have a dedicated team of technicians and assistant technical officers who deliver a fast response service working within Standard Operating Procedures and the Guide to Good Manufacturing practice.
We are looking for a highly motivated, adaptable, conscientious and registered Pharmacist or registered Pharmacy Technician to join our existing team. They will be responsible for the managerial oversight of the service, identifying and implementing service improvements, ensuring legal compliance and releasing products produced with the Section 10 unit. They will have the ability to work as part of and organise a team, maintain accuracy under pressure, and possess good organisational, communication and numerical skills.

Are you an experienced Aseptic Pharmacist or Technician and looking to take the next step in your career? Due to expansion of the service there is an exciting opportunity to join the team within the Aseptic Unit, Royal Devon University Trust (Eastern Services). The unit is progressive and committed to patient safety, producing a wide range of intravenous preparations. If you have previous supervisory experience working within an aseptic unit and are looking for a role gaining strategic management experience and exposure to new technologies, this could be the position for you. The successful candidate would need exceptional personal skills and attention to detail as well as the ability to motivate and organise a specialist team.
